Next course starting from 22nd March 2010 !!!

Rainbow Film Society is going to start a new training programme for the resident of London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The course will start from 22nd March 2010 and will last for 16 weeks. Participants will learn how to make film & videos. The course will be delivered through regular theoretical & practical classes, seminars & workshops on specific film genre & provide some first-hand practical training in film/video making.

This is an unique opportunities for local Bangladeshi community. On completion of the project, majority of the participants will have the basic knowledge and skills necessary to follow their individual goals in life by dint of the increased confidence and motivation gained through our courses in film/video making sector. The project is supported by LDE and ESF.

During summer time, Rainbow Film Society is going to produce another film on health issue to create health awarness.

Members and volunteers can join to gain practical experiences. Project supported by Awards for All.

 

Training courses

Rainbow Film Society is providing training for local people. Our main target is local young and unemployed people. But we also encourage people from any background to join our training courses. Most of the courses are free. Some courses is chargable with nominal fees.

We are regularly running film/video making courses since 1999. Our project was supported by ESF, Tower Hamlets College, Peabody Trust etc.

Time to time we also organise short film making courses for young children.

Apart from our regular film screening, we take an initiative to screen films for young children. Either we visited the school or we invite children to the film thatre.
