The 24th Rainbow International Film Festival is starting on Sunday 28 May 2023
Rainbow Film Society (a registered charity) organises Rainbow International Film Festival since 2000 showcasing films from around the globe including features, shorts and documentaries. The key target group of the festival is the local population that otherwise would have no access to such films. Several films screened are particularly appropriate for families to enjoy together, and the festival venues provide a safe environment for someone to come out and enjoy such cultural opportunities. The festival also aims to attract all audiences interested in discovering foreign films and marketing the festival to them.
As we live in a multicultural society it is important to explore other communities’ history, cultures and traditions through a better understanding of cultural diversity, to promote racial harmony and community cohesion.
